Slacking in town...
Met up with Jas to have dinner. She bought a bag at Tangs. Not too bad. Its white colour though and it might get dirty easily. But doesn't matter lah, as long as she like can liaoz. She bought a pair of Levi's jeans too. On my credit.... actually brought her to the Levi's shop cuz I wanna buy my jeans, but ended up buying for her. No more money to buy my jeans already.... =P
Gotta wait till next payday.
Tomorrow will be another slack day.....

Nothing to do....
Had a reunion dinner at Cheveron Clubhouse at night. All the Bravo Bty officers and BSM was there. Its more like a farewell dinner cuz boss, Koh and me are posting out to either HQ or other unit. Its a point in life when we gotta move on, as much as we wanted to stay. Had a very heavy dinner. All kinds of food... shan't describe in detail.
Tomorrow is probably gonna be another boring day. Don't know what to do yet.... Oh yar did I mention I am gonna be the Duty Officer on New Year's Eve~? Sianz to the extreme.... Anyone wanna join me in camp? =P

Christmas Eve....
Did not really do much stuff at Sentosa. Broke my toenail after a short round of beach soccer. Was bleeding all over, so did not continue. Was ambushed by the guys during the phototaking and ended up being thrown into the sea. Did not struggle as I was already heavily outnumbered 1: 30. So I just relax and let them carry me to the sea and dump me in.... haha...
Met Andrew and Chan Ming after that. Went to Autobacs to change my spark plug. Haven't changed it since I bought my car. Better change it before the car die on me halfway through the expressway. Went to Casa Roma with Jas to have our X'mas Dinner. Had some steak and wine... its a $107 dinner but because Jas had a $100 voucher, we ended up only paying $7.... haha... That's the most expensive dinner we've had....
Actually wanted to go to town to join in the countdown but was kinda lazy. The thought of having to squeeze with all the ppl there in town ain't too appealing. Luckily Vai called us in time and invited us to his hotel room. He had booked a room with Huijun at Intercontinental Hotel at Bugis. So we did our own countdown in the hotel room with Din, Hannah, Huijun and Vai, and a bottle of champange... Did nothing much in the room. Just watching VCD and making lots of noise. Decided to sleep over but the bed was too small. 5 of them squeezed onto the King size bed while I just make myself comfortable by combining some chairs together.
Had breakfast at Mac, then sent Jas home to wash up. Then we went to IMM Building to buy my tools and some stuffs before heading back to my house. Christmas Day dinner was at Andrew's house. Chin Lee was the organiser, Andrew was the Chef and his house was the restaurant.... haha.... Had pizzas.... many many pizzas, mussles... very delicious ones, some vodka, some beer and some wine. And we had Andrew's homemade Tiramisu for dessert~! Andrew is really good at cooking. Should learn some skills from him some day so that I can cook for my friends too... haha.. that's gonna take a long time.
They should be heading to the clubs now to continue drinking. After all the happenings in the past few days, its time for me to catch some rest... going back to camp to do duty tomorrow.... sianz.... what a spoiler...

3 Days in KL...
Just came back from KL. Went there with Jas, Din, Hanah and Martin. Not exactly a very exciting trip but at least its a form of relaxation for me. Our trip there was by the Gunung Raya Coach and interestingly there were only 5 of us on the bus, excluding the drivers. So essentially, we paid 25 bucks each and had the whole bus to ourselves... haha... not a bad deal. Slept all the way and reached KL at about 3am. Had to navigate to our hotel after that. I guess Jas was pretty disappointed when she saw the hotel. I'm sure its not what she'd hoped it would be. Not those grand multi-storey hotel with luxurious bathtub. Sorry darling, can't put your bubble bath into good use.... =P

<>
It was really a very "budget hotel". Had just enough for us to sleep and shower that's all. But then again, that hotel belongs to Hanah's good friend's sister, so we just stay lor. Don't worry darling, I'll make sure we get a better hotel next time round! Had some misunderstanding with the janitor and some confusion with the arrangement resulted in us paying more than we expected for the hotel. Kinda complicated. Shan't elaborate further.
<>Bought some stuffs here and there. Can't really splurge cuz the prices in the shopping centre ain't any cheaper. Got a pair of cool nike shoes on the last day. I like it. I think its nice! There were some "down" time during the trip. A damn idiotic vendor at the pasar malam spoiled our mood. Other than that, the rest of the trip was pretty fine. Had fun and we were planning for a Thailand trip next year. Wondering if they are go going by bus or plane.... we'll see when the time comes.

A Day In Pulau Ubin....
Maybe its because we have not been cycling for so long already. That's why we kinda got tired after a short while of cycling. Freaking shagged~! We were cycling quite fast though. Within a few hours, we've went to all parts of Ubin and spent some time at the quarry. Its a nice and serene place. Took quite a number of photos there. Actually wanted to stay till 4pm but by 2pm, we all surrendered. Cannot take it anymore. Went back to mainland to meet up with Jas, Vai and Huijun.
Had dinner at Magic Wok, then idle around at City Link Pacific Coffee till late. Quite an interesting day. Did a lot of stuff today and its good to meet up with all of them again too. Tired now.. gonna sleep liaoz... =P

*laalaa*
Just moved into my new office last Friday. A much smaller place with less freedom... not too good but not that I have a choice. Hopefully I can do well in my new appointment.
Got my bike license and currently looking for a bike. Don't really know why I want a bike for but I just want a bike. Just the foolish me but that's just me. I don't have much interest in life... I don't play computer games, no Xbox, no PS2. I don't sing KTV and I hardly play pool. My only interest is only those machines... cars and bikes.... I find more joy in them.... it brings so much more convenience.... Simply enjoy cruising down the highway and chatting with my darling.... Love the speed of car and the freedom of bike. I want them all. Not that I have a lot of money but who cares. Only rich pple can have these things? If not now, then when?
I was looking at Aprilia RS125 but then all my buddies advice against it. High maintenance being one of the most important factor. Most prob gonna settle down with a Phantom 150. Wait till I get my Class 2 then I will get the GSX-R1000....hehehe..... for now.... just dream.....

Doing duty again...
Oh yar, back to the bikes. Seems like phantom is gonna be the final choice. Aprilia is just too expensive and difficult to maintain. And none of my friends are recommending it. I guess I would probably ride for 2 years till I get my class 2, then I'll roll out a brand new GSX-R1000! No point rolling out a 2A bike since the difference is not that big. I love driving! I love riding! Oh no I'm so greedy! But then again, I don't really have much interest in other things. I don't like soccer, I don't like collectors item. I just like the feeling of having your own vehicle (be it bike or car) and travelling to anywhere you want (despite the fact the Singapore is damn small). My GSX-R1000!!! Wait for me!!! And for those who don't know what bike is it, refer to previous posts.
Sad news. I am going overseas again. Was unpacking my kit bag the other day when a gunner from Alpha came to inform me that I have been assigned to go to New Zealand mid-Jan for yet another Live Firing. Sianz... didn't unpack much cuz I stuff most of my equipment back in. 3 overseas trip within 6 mths... kinda sianz already. But then again, its not as if I have a choice.

So HAPPY~!

Training in Australia....
Overall, the whole thing was quite alright. Not much screw-ups. The admin was not too efficient, the canteen was bullshit and the weather is hopeless. The rest of it was okie. The live firing went well. Spent many nights outfield looking at the stars and thinking of Jas. Its really beautiful and there were just soooooooo many stars! If only Jas was here to savour the beautiful night with me...
Finished live-firing earlier than expected. But its no good news because they wanted us to roll-over for another exercise. sianz.... I was not directly involved so I got quite a bit of time. Read a few books. Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, Not a Penny More Not a Penny Less, Invisible Trade... Dan Brown is a damn good author. I will definitely be buying the other 2 books, Deception Point and, Angels and Demons. His suspenses were good and kept me glued to the book most of the time.
The R&R was crap. Brought us to some mountain to dig for crystal and "thundereggs". Went shopping and bought a skirt, some shorts and a top for Jas. Bought a berm for myself . Not much night life in Australia. Kinda pathetic... sianz...
Finally back here in Singapore. Home Sweet Home.
Dinner at Sixth Avenue
Ate a lot at the restaurant... mostly meat... so damn full now. The food was not too bad but its very expensive. About 40++ per person... Total for 12 person was $518... gosh... haha... The rest continued to go for a drink at Holland V after that. Did not join then cuz I gotta send Jas home. She is having her last A level paper tomorrow. Goodluck darling~!

Finally back from Wallaby~!
29 Oct...
Jas sent me off at the airport. Treated her to dinner at Swensen. She wasn't too happy cuz I'm leaving already.... As much as I wanna stay by her side during the most important period of her life, I can't... that makes me very upset. I really hope this is not gonna affect her concentration. Felt a bit like crying at the gate. Seeing CO's son cries, makes me even wanna cry more. But she didn't cry so I must control too... =P Really can't bear to leave her....
The flight was not enjoyable. The stewardess were kinda screwed up. Racists I guess. But who cares. Can't be bothered with them. Brisbane International Airport was a nightmare. Had the worst experience! The queue at the checkout counters was damn long. And worse still, the ppl at the counters were damn slow. Took their own sweet time to slowly process each person. Perhaps I'm just too used to the efficiency of the Changi Airport.... I wouldn't have been so pissed off and would've waited cooly if not for the fact that we have to catch the next plane which is abt at hour away. My whole impression of Australia changed today. Rude, arrogant, fucking racists are just some of their many hopeless characteristics. So damn disappointed with their service standard.
01 Nov...
Its a screwed up day. Everything that can go wrong, went wrong. Shan't elaobrate too much. It's classified. In brief, somebody screw up my signal sets, ate sand the whole day, people dunno how to work efficiently, some dumb ass took my helmet without my permission. Irritated!
Missing Jas so much already... many more days to go.....
02 Nov...
Went for another reccee today. Saw bush fire along the way. The fire was damn huge... kinda scary. Vehicle nearly overturned when on our way to one of the deployment grounds. Luckily we managed to push it back. Had many meetings and briefings after that.... damn tired....
To be continued...

Leaving on a jet plane....
Definitely gonna miss Jas a lot. Can't really have a peace of mind cuz Jas is gonna have her 'A's during my absence... and I really feel bad not being able to be there for her during this tough period.... Sorry darling.... I promised I will buy you lots of nice stuffs when I come back okie~! Think of the bright side... my coming back will signify the last day of your exam~! Let's all look forward to that day.
Gonna to take my Class 2B TP Test the moment I come back... Hope can pass it on my first attempt. Heard from a lot of pple that there are quotas for each day and usually they won't let pple pass the first time. Well, still gotta try anyway. Even if its true that they dun pass first timer, does that mean that I'm gonna sit there and wait? Of course not. Gotta make the first step. If they really fail me the first time round (like what everyone say) at least I know that I would stand a chance on my second time~! For those out there who have nothing better to do... pray for me....

All you guys out there better wish me good luck okie~! =P

Irritated...
Cannot take it anymore, so I just walked to the medic, ask him to strike my name off and went away. Didn't bother to take my record card anymore cuz I am not gonna go back there anymore. Rather spend some money outside. At least I bet the dentist outside would respect my time. I don't have the whole day to wait for him to give me a 10mins dental check.
That is really the problem with army's doctors and dentists. No matter how many patients they attend to, they still get the same old pathetic pay every month. Its not their own business and they are not earning anything from it, so they would just take their own time and do everything slowly. Attend to 10 guys get X amount of money. Attend to 100 guys also get X amount of money. Which idiot would wanna do more for the same amount? Damn irritated. This crap gotta change....

The tempo is building up....
Boss is really busy. He's going off on Sat and he is still in camp attending meetings, and doing work. Even Sat morning he has to attend a meeting too. His wife is really not happy. Was chatting with him and Isaac just now when his wife called. He was suppose to pick his wife up after her work and he was 2 hours late. And she is still waiting in the office. Can understand why she got mad but then again, boss is really not having a good time either. Sighz... Seeing them quarrel really reminds me of what everyyone's saying. Its tough being a soldier's wife. How many girls can actually endure the kind of endless work her husband is involved in, minimum time with her and at the end of the day, too tired for anything else.... Never mind... just hope that boss managed to work it out with his wife.
To tired to do anything now. Best is to sleep and I shall do just that....zzzzZZZZZzzzzz
