JB Petrol Run and Pasir Gudang Track Day...

It was great experience for me on Sat and Sun... Did things that I've never done before and its kinda fun.
Saturday: Went for the West Side Riders outing and chatted for a while at this ulu eating place off Depot Road... Good place to hang out cuz there's plently of parking lots. After that, went into 2nd link to pump petrol for the first time. Had Issayboi, WestSpec and Flaky_boi as my personal guide... It was fun riding with them. Now I know where they clear their carbon everytime... that whole stretch of bridge from Singapore custom to Malaysia custom is the perfect place... One long stretch where you can see no end... haha...

Pumped Petronas after making a u-turn at 312C. Saw some siao mat-rempits doing wheelies on their kup...kaoz....crazy people... and they are damn young lor...at most 10 years old... Okie doesn't matter to me. I don't give a damn. Just pump and come out. Don't wanna get involoved with them in any ways.

Sunday: Met up with Andrew and we ride up north to Pasir Gudang for the Johor Circuit Track Day. We don't really know the way.. just follow the road sign... and we got lost~! hahaz.... not very lost lah, just somewhere near the area but don't exactly know where it is. Andrew buay tahan anymore and stopped at a petrol station to buy a map. We studied the map for a good 10 minute and came to a conclusion....the map is useless~! It doesn't even show the place we are at... kaoz... what kind of lousy map is that... wasted 5 rm... =P

Luckily the cashier at the petrol station teach us how to go. Its fun to be navigating around places. I suddenly feel like I'm back to my Sec Sch days, when I ride my bicycle and explore the neighbourhood with Khairuddin. Still remember there was once, we tried to figure our way from Yishun to Woodlands, and we spent hours going round and round.... -_-"

We finally found our way after a while. Johor Circuit is not quite what Andrew and me expected it to be. Its more like an abandoned playground for bikers... okie lah, the track condition is not too bad, but everything else is fit for the museum. Oh well, the facilities are not important. What's interesting is the number of superbikes over there... its quite an eye-opener for the both of us... to see so many bikers in their Full Battle Order (Full face helmet, full leather track suit, gloves and race boots), and bringing their bikes to the extreme. Now Andrew is so tempted to get his full suit, change his exhaust and go whack his bike on the track. It was a short trip but definitely a fulfilling one.

Wanted to eat lunch in JB but can't really find a suitable place and we don't wanna leave our bikes unattended. So we ended up coming back to Singapore for lunch. On our way back, the custom is jammed~! Sianz... its already so freaking hot and we are stucked in the jam. Sweating like crazy and my whole T-shirt is wet....-_-" Oh.. and Andrew is unlucky enough to get a nail in his rear tire...

What's next? Go Melaka eat durian chendol or go Ipoh eat hor fun? haha... =P
Locked and loaded. Ready to whack the beast~!

City Venture Committee Celebration Dinner

As with tradition, the CV committee had their long-awaited post-event celebration on 7 Dec at Chong Qing Steamboat in Bugis. Ben and Lionel joined in the fun too. As there's too many of us, we were split into 2 tables. Our "old people" table consist of Alan, Ben, Lionel and myself... The reason why we call it the "old people" table is because we are really like old men. Just concentrate on eating and eating. We grab so much food on our table and its always full...haha... wheras the "young people" table ate so little...they were laughing and talking most of the time....waste money... hahaha... -_-"
Ben and Lionel at the "old people" table... wat you can see is only 1/3 of the food on the table....haha....
The "young people" table....
Me and Alan... We were concentrating on our prawns... =P

SRC Bazaar...

After months of planning and hardwork, the SRC Welfare Department's 3rd event, Bazaar, has finally come to an end. The committee has its flaws and shortcomings, but it is heartening to see that all of them are putting in their best effort to organise this event and make it a success. And it sure is a success~! Not that I am trying to hao lian or what, but I really think this year's Bazaar is better! There are more varieties and more people buying things compared to last year. Well done guys and girls of the Welfare Dept Bazaar Committee!!!
~Ren Faire 2007~
A very big thank you for all those who came to help us through the late hours... Allan Toh and Sher, you guys rocks~! Daniel and Jie Chao, thanks for the extra effort.

The SIM-UOL SRC Bazaar proudly organised by Welfare Department is round the corner~! Setting up the place is tedious... 200 Tables and 100 Chairs... Daily Happenings...

Lazy to type anything more.... let the photos do the talking.....
The Bazaar is coming soon.... 4-6 Dec... The Bazaar Committee busy collecting payments from the Vendors.... not an easy task... Carry on the good work guys and gals~!
The Exco playing Hello Kitty Uno at KAP Mac... Its is our favourite game~! The Ultimate is Alan Ling with the most Wins. And Welfare Department did pretty well. Me and Xiaoxuan also took turns to win the game. And the Ultimate Loser is........... Ben~! haha.... If you lose one time... maybe its luck... 2 times, maybe still can forgive... But if you lose 3 times in a row~! hahahahaha.... nothing to say... hehe... =P
Vincent Ang's Wedding... Finally settling down... All the best to you and your wife~! =)
Ben looking damn Metro here...hahaha... so carefully apply moisturizer on his sun-burnt face....=P
Celebrating Xiaoxuan's Birthday at Fish&Co. Glasshouse. The waitresses there were a fun lot~! One of them (I think so is one of the managers) actually got Xiaoxuan to stand on the chair, holding a fire sparkler with we, and the team of waitresses shouted cheers and sang her a birthday song.... haha.... quite a surprise for both Xiaoxuan and all of us... But its fun~! Too bad we were so caught by surprise that we totally forgot to take any photos or videos on what happened....haha... Anyway, Happy Birthday Xiaoxuan~!
This photo is so out of proportion... Told the waitress to help us take a pic... I think she is more interested in getting the Fish&Co logo into the pic....=P
And why is Xiaoxuan hiding behind me~!

Freaking Shag....

Wah~! I haven't been so tired for a long, long time.... On the request of Din, worked at SB-Liat Tower in the afternoon. The crowd was never-ending~! I was manning the Frap Station and the drink orders just keep coming in....non-stop~! haha... There's so many new drinks now and different ways of marking the cups and calling the drinks.... I'm confused~! Well, actually the ways to make the drinks are more or less the same lah... they just change the marking and names to make it look complicated. At least I'm able to make all the drinks... my only problem is cup marking... =P Oh, and I was there at the Frap Station for a solid 5 hours. No toilet break. No teabreak. No water. No nothing. Just keep making drinks and for once, I felt like the Cogs of a Machine... (like what we learn in Sociology ).... Okie lah... end of the day, I think its quite fun lah. Its fun because I only work like once in a blue, blue moon when Din is desperate for help. I can't imagine working there everyday.... =P

After that, I rushed to my dad's stall to help him... sianz.... working again.... this time at the Hawker Centre. But at least this one is easier. Don't have to be so nice and smiley. Just give people their food can already. But its still very tiring. Surprisingly, I only ate a bun in the morning, and I didn't feel hungry until at about 8pm.... This is the result of working too hard...so much so that I forgot about my hunger... =P

Alright, no more energy already... going to sleep.....zzzzz

Busy bee....

Been really, really busy..... just look at when I last updated my blog and you could have guessed.... So much stuffs have happened and I don't really know where to start... Let's start with the event.
28th Oct 2006: City Venture is finally completed. I would say that it was a success, given that it was executed as planned. Of course, some things didn't go so well and we have some complaints here and there but I guess that's just life. We can't make everyone happy. Debriefed the Planning Committee after the event and they realised their mistakes and shortcomings. I think that's the most important thing. As long as they learn from their mistakes and grow from it, then all the bad things that happened will be worth it. And also, the happenings at the event proved my theory: Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. Always plan for the worst thing that can happen.
Alan and Daniel loading the stores onto the trolley....

9 Nov 2006: All thanks to Andrew, I got to go for the 8th Singapore Motor Show at Suntec. It was the trade show and not open to the public, so I got the luxury to tour the whole exhibition will minimal fuss. Can slowly take all the photos I want and don't have to squeeze with all the people *okie, there's actually not much ppl at the trade show* I weren't too fascinated by the display as they were mostly cars and only a small segment for bikes. But anyway, its free so I've got nothing to complain. The best part is the Russ Swift stunt driving performance. He is the World's Best Precision Driver and his driving skills are fantastic~!
Yamaha Race Replica
The very cool R6
Don't laugh... this is a REAL car....haha... so cute right....
Me and my dream car...Honda S2000~!
