Just for Laugh... =D

Decided to share this funny story with you guys for some light-hearted laugh!

Don't ever name your dog "Sex"
---------------------------------------------------------
Everybody I know who has a dog usually calls him "Rover" or "Boy." I call mine "Sex."
Now, Sex has been very embarrassing to me.

When I went to the City Hall to renew his dog license, I told the clerk that I would like a license for Sex. He said, "I'd like to have one too." Then I said, "You don't understand. I've had Sex since I was nine years old." He said, "You must have been quite a kid!"

When I got married and went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I told the hotel clerk that I wanted a room for my wife and me, and a special room for Sex. He said, "Every room in the place is for sex." I said, "You don't understand. Sex keeps me awake at night." The clerk said, "Me too."

One day I entered Sex in a contest, but before the competition began, the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just looking around. I told him I had planned to have Sex in the contest. He told me that I should have sold tickets. "But you don't understand," I said, "I had hoped to have Sex on T.V." He called me a show-off.

When I decided to get married, I told the pastor that I would like to have Sex at the wedding. He told me to wait until after the wedding was over. I said, "But Sex has played a big part in my life and my whole world revolves around Sex." He said he didn't want to hear about my personal life and would not marry us in his church. I told him everyone would enjoy having Sex at the wedding. The next day we were married at the Justice of the Peace. My family is barred from the church from then on.

When my wife and I separated, we went to court to fight for custody of the dog. I said, "Your Honor, I had Sex before I was married." The judge said, "Me too." Then I told him that after I was married, Sex left me. He said, "Me too."

Last night Sex ran off again. I spent hours looking around town for him. A cop came over to me and asked, "What are you doing in the alley at 4 o'clock in the morning?" I said, "I'm looking for Sex."

My case comes up Friday. Well now I've been thrown in jail, been divorced and had more damn troubles with that dog than I ever foresaw.

Why just the other day when I went for my first session with the psychiatrist, she asked me, "What seems to be the trouble?" I replied, "Sex has been my best friend all my life but now it has left me forever. I couldn't live any longer so lonely." And the doctor said, "Look mister, you should understand that sex isn't a man's best friend, so get yourself a dog."

Starbucks

Tuesday's holiday was fun~! On the request of Shirlene, I went to Starbucks Bugis to help out. As it was Hari Raya holidays, a lot of their Partners were unable to work. So me and Shirlene went to help. I should not be helping there cuz I was not from that store, but since Shirlene asked and I have nothing to do, so just go lor.

I have not worked as a Barista for about 4 years plus already. And when I told the Opener, Clemence and the Manager, Eileen, about it, they nearly got heart attack.... hahaha... But I'm pretty okie lah... As in, I still remember how to make all the standard drinks, steam the milk with nice foam, pull good shots (between 18-23 seconds, with 3 clear visible layers), and also all the other standard procedures. I am also surprised at how all these things seem to come back to me by nature... its as if I have been doing it everyday. But I guess that as long as its things you enjoy doing, you will remember it for life.

The crowd was quite mild in the morning but come late morning, more and more people starts to come in. That's when we got a mini SLAM (that's our lingo for endless overwhelming drink orders) at the Bar. I worked pretty well with Shirlene. I'm the BE, she's the BS and we manage to clear the drinks slow and steady... haha... its really fun.

I don't mind helping out again~! If got anymore of such stuffs, must let me know~! hahaha...

Oct SRC MGM and Ahmad's Birthday Celebration~

As usual, we had our Monthly General Meeting on 18 Oct, Wed. Its the usual presentation and experience sharing. I guess most people attend the MGM not for the agendas itself but more for the informal gathering after that. Its nice to see everyone catching up with each other, making new friends and just chatting non-stop. One group of them even celebrated a fellow member's birthday with a cake. =)
Then it was our turn to celebrate birthday. It was Ahmad's birthday~! Birthday celebrations with the Excos are always fun... haha... We went to this Nana Thai Restaurant at Far East for dinner. Suppose to eat chili crab cuz that's Mudd's favourite food but there's no more crab~ -_-" But never mind... its not so much about what we it, but rather, who we were eating with! That's the fun part! =P
The 3 Department Heads.... We are always arguing to get our points across. Wong is almost always the one who kena aimed... But that's because he is usually thinking at a different frequency.... -_-" But amidst all that chaos, we still love each others... hahahaha..... =)
Me and my trusty Deputies... Xiaoxuan and Alan.... What would I do without them? =)
Jing, Sharon and Lionel
After the dinner, we went to Liat Tower Starbucks. Din was there so I managed to get discount for our drinks... hehe... Played Uno and made quite a bit of noise...opps... =P
Its was a fun gathering and I'm definitely looking forward to more to come... Meanwhile, Happy Birthday Ahmad and enjoy the coming Hari Raya~!

SIM Blood Donation Drive 2006

Alright, back with more updates on the Blood Donation Drive. Just a brief intro... The SIM-UOL Student Representative Council (SRC) organises various activities every year, Blood Donation being one of them. I was last year's Blood Donation Committee IC. This year's IC is Wan Shi. Her team did a great job this year. The publicity was fun and good. The event was a success~! Good job everyone~!
The Doctor and the Nurse... Charles and Wanshi~! They sure catch lots of attention =)
The supporters from other departments.
My turn to donate~! Doing my blood test here.... actually I think this is the most painful part... the actually process was not so pain.... haha....
Okie.... its getting kinda scary....
Was talking to Joan so that I won't look at how the nurse poke my arm... kaoz... really scary lah... though no feeling cuz its already numb but the needle is so thick...=P
My FIRST Blood Donation~!!!! Really not as pain as it seems.... pretty painless... like I say, the most painful part is when they poke my finger tip to get blood for testing.... =P

Long overdue updates...

Freaking long never update already. Very very busy with everything... sianz... too lazy to blog... don't even know where to start... just let the pictures do the talking as usual...
Welfare Department's first BBQ, organised by all the Event ICs and 2ICs.
Then I am off to Bangkok with Jas.
The view from the top of Baiyoke Suite Hotel.... Not exactly a good location because its far from the main shopping area... Think Asia Hotel is still better.. =P
Back to Singapore and got the chance to "molest" Andrew's new Suzuki GSX-R1000... hehehe...
And we had our 2nd SRC MGM...
Before we knew it, this year's Blood Donation Drive has come and gone... THE TEAM, together with Shirley from Red Cross. Good job guys and girls~!
The rest of the helpers. Thanx to those from Projects and Sports for showing your support either by donating or helping out. =)
Isabelle... The last donor for the day~!
Me and Jacqueline... BD IC and 2IC for 2005 Blood Donation Drive.
