Can't sleep....
Damn... its freaking 4am and I simply cannot get to sleep... Have been tossing around in bed since 2 am.. must be the coffee I drank at Kulai just now... sianz...
Worst of all, I have morning lesson in about 4 hours time~!!!
Anyway, I went to Kulai for Dim Sum with Whisk and James just now. It was my first time to Kulai, so its pretty fun. Didn't really go fast... just a leisure ride to Kulai and back. The Dim Sum was not bad. There were 5 of us and we ate quite a bit and its only 84RM.... I think that's pretty cheap for 5 person... haha...
Next up would be Melaka day trip this Saturday.... I'm thinking that I should get a fullface helmet for Agnes... Somehow I just feel very uncomfortable for her to go to the trip with me on a open face helmet. The basic gears would be full face helmet, armoured jacket, jeans and boots... The least she should have would be a fullface helmet. Hmmm... probably gonna check out some helmets tomorrow.... I can't really afford a good and expensive one for now... probably have to settle for a simple one... Let's hope I get a good deal... =P
Damn, this is the 3rd night I'm sleeping without aircon and its getting quite irritating... I'm not a spoiled brat who needs to sleep in aircon room... its just that my home condition makes sleeping without aircon quite terrible. We have to close all windows when we sleep and that makes the whole room super stuffy.... even with the fan blasting, its simply circulating the hot and warm air that is stuck in the room... that's why I am sweating now and probably that's why I still can't get to sleep.... haiz...
Okie lah, enough of craps... Gonna try sleeping again....

The weekend...
25 Jan '08, Friday
Went on to watch The Mist... The show is average, but as usual, it did not pass Agnes's test... She has high expectation for movies... hehe... I must agree that the way the movie end is kinda senseless.... But one thing we both agree on is that the woman in the show that keep preaching about God is freaking irritating and deserve the shot she got in the head... opps I'm revealing too much... watch it yourself~! =P
26 Jan '08, Saturday
Luckily the beancurd is still as nice and delicious as before... so all that sweat and frustrations were not in vain...
Okie, so for those of you who can't find Yong He and thought it has closed down.... Good news... its new location is at the end of Lor 27A... Happy eating~! :)
27 Jan '08, Sunday
Sunday morning is great to ride in... Perfect weather, good road condition, perfect visibility and no other vehicles on the road while on my way towards Southbound R&R... and that was the perfect opportunity for me to break my psychological barrier... And I finally broke it today~! I finally went pass that 200km/h mark and clocked 220km/h on Miss Busa~! Okie lah, 220km/h is probably nothing much for most Busa riders out there, since there are plenty of them who can easily clock 300-340km/h.... But it was a great deal for me cuz I've always been unable to break that 200km/h mark... always hovering at 180 to 190...
Dinner treat from Agnes~! She got her bonus and gave me a dinner treat at Sakae Sushi... yum yum... been a long time since I ate my favourite sushi and sashimi... hehe... Thanx dear~!

26 Jan '08, SaturdayIt was Hady's big day as he is finally getting married. Hady was one of my colleagues back in BMTC and I'm honoured that he remembered me and invited me to his wedding dinner. Congratulation Hady~! Ceying was there too and it was nice to do some catching up with him.
Met up with Agnes after she finished her one full day of shopping with her colleague and we decided to go to Geylang Yong He for the soya beancurd.... It was heavy with traffic as usual... luckily we were on Miss Busa and we managed to keep moving consistently... though not without some sweat... Miss Busa is a hot babe to handle~!

We went up and down the whole stretch of Geylang but simply cannot find Yong He... I remembered quite well where the shop was, but when we reach there, its no longer the same shop... We went around to explore and finally found Yong He at Lor 27A.... It has shifted about a month ago.... -___-"""

My club had a ride up north for some nice seafood, but I was unable to join them cuz I gotta work.. Nonetheless, I still met up with them and ride with them up to GP before U-turning back at 312C... Enjoy the wind and get some petrol... :)

If not because the balls is already in my throat, the bike can easily go faster... Not too bad.. a good start... but that's not something I am gonna do frequently since I do not see the need to go that fast.... yet.

20th Jan....
Weather in Singapore is really random. One moment it can be bright and sunny, the next moment it can be thunderstorm.... -_-"
I am a biker, not a rider. Rain or shine, I will ride... but sometimes, the rain gets a bit too heavy... so I have no choice but to take shelter.... bleah... Actually, sometimes I find it quite calming and relaxing, to be sitting alone at the bus stop watching the rain dropping and the cars zooming by...
Wanted to study, but as usual, got a bit lazy.... and we ended up.....
Yup~! Went to Msia to clear carbon and pump petrol with Agnes.. Of course, my wingman, Andrew came along too. Some improvement... slowly getting use to high speed... i can now ride face up at 180kph... don't need to hide behind the windshield. But of course once the needle goes above 200kph, that's a different ball game altogether.... Didn't wanna try 200kph today cuz Agnes was behind me. I need to slowly get used to the speed, so does she. A few more rounds of training, and some proper gears (i.e. Fullface helmets, jackets and boots) and we should be on our way to tour Msia and Thailand soon... (after I graduate that is... =P)
Went to Vivo after that, wanting to catch "One Missed Call" at 9.55pm, but the last slot available was at 7.35pm~! Sianz... the GV website not accurate one... =P
No movie to watch, then eat ice-cream lor....

Painting painting painting....
Painting again today~! Painted the corridor that leads from the living room to the bedrooms. Tough job as usual... but luckily Agnes was there to help. She's simply addicted to painting and refuse to stop~! *faint* Finally all the paintings are done... almost... Needed to paint the corridor ceiling too but need to patch up some holes first... For now, I am gonna take a break... scare of painting already... =P
Goodluck for those who are gonna register for UOL degree programmes in future... They are gonna raise the passing marks from 34 to 40. Yes!!! 40!!! *faint* 34 already so difficult to get and now they wanna make it 40. I think that's probably because there are too much 1st Class Honours.. that's why they wanna make it more difficult... =P
But its okie... cuz I am graduating (hopefully) this year! haha...
Exam is round the corner but the mood to study is not quite there yet. Somehow I feel that this year I am more slack. Die lah... crucial final year... better no screw it up. Jia yoU~!!!

Operation Typhoon
After more than 5 years of living in my messy room, I've finally decided to do something about it. A new paint job and a rearrangement of furniture is what my room needs.... And Operation Typhoon begins...
After the first wave of typhoon, I realised how much junks my room has... I can't believe I still can find my primary school textbooks and secondary school notes in my room... I cleared loads of stuffs from my room and I do it with one simple rule. Anything that has not been touched for the last 2 years will be thrown away!!! Yes ANYTHING at all.... These included things like sec sch notes, poly notes, display items on my shelf etc. I also threw away more than 10 bags which I've not used for the last 5 years... Okie lah, I didn't really threw them away... I packed them up nicely and leave it near the rubbish collection area, and hopefully the rubbish collector will be interested in it and bring it back to use... Mind you, the bags are in pretty good condition and non of them are spoiled or anything.. They just didn't fit the "one simple rule"....
Then begins the painting. My room is damn small and I thought it would be easy. I am soooooo WRONG! It is precisely because it is small, that's why it was extremely difficult to paint. Too little spaces to shift the furnitures around. The shelf, bed and table practically took up every inch of my room. I had to work within confined spaces and it is definitely straining on the muscles... Needless to say, I ended up with a few days of backache.... -___-""
Luckily, Agnes was here to help~! Despite a hard day at work, she came over immediately after work to help with the painting. Thank you~!!! We were suppose to go out, but we ended up spending the whole night painting because I under-estimated the amount of work to be done... Sorry~!

Happy New Year~!
Been a long long time since I last updated. Happy New Year to all~! Ya I know its kinda late, but its the thought that counts right? =)
I guess its because I am getting old... that's why time seems to past much faster. In the blink of the eyes, 2007 is gone. 2007 had not been a very good year... Hopefully 2008 will be better... I read quite a few blogs and it seems typical that people write about their New Year Resolutions at the start of the year... Maybe I should do that too.. =P
My 2008 Resolutions:
1. Pass my exam... yes I friggin need to pass all of the 5.5 subjects I'm taking this year to graduate properly... and I have not been really revising... so yeah.. time to wake up~!
2. Clear all my debts... yes yes I do owe Mum and Dad quite a sum of money cuz of my studies.. owe a few others and the Army too... I wanna clear all the debts as soon as possible cuz I hate to owe people things, especially money. Mum and Dad gets the priority of course.
3. Ride up to Thailand... You heard it right.. RIDE up to Thailand... that's is something I've been wanting to do, but do not have the money, energy, time and guts to do it. I wanna experience it at least once. But first I need to train up by going for short trips up north... Malacca, KL, Penang... just to name a few... =P
4. Be a better man, son, brother, bf, friend... Not that I am very lousy now, but it can be better...
5. Do well in my career... This is important because it can help fulfill Resolution 2 and 3, and that will somehow lead to the fulfillment of Resolution 4.
Okie lah, I don't have much resolutions. That should be all for now.

MC King, the comedian from Ch 8 just passed away. I used to watch his shows when I was much younger. Its really shocking to know that he suddenly passed away just like that.Recently, I got to read alot about people passing away suddenly. Just last week, before Christmas, a fellow rider passed away in an accident at Pasir Gudang Track. I don't know him at all, but he is a friend of a number of my friends. I read about the msgs his gf wrote in the bike forum and it really saddens me.... haiz... life is fragile... Cherish your loved one. Show it to them that you love them. Use action. Words and thoughts are useless. Its no use just knowing or saying you love someone. Show it with your action. You'll never know when your loved ones will just suddenly leave this world... so show them your love while you can.

X'mas Celebration
As the years get by one after another, Christmas celebration has become more and more dull. No more crazy partying, no more squeezing with people at Orchard Road... Those kind of things have simply lost its appeal on me. Perhaps its because I am getting old. For now, nothing beats hanging out together with a group of good friends, eating, drinking and chatting to our hearts' contend. This year's Christmas gathering was done at Francis's house.
The most interesting thing in his house is the Wii... okie I don't really know the full name of that gadget since I am not really into these gaming stuffs. Its basically some game console which requires you to move your hands and body to control the character inside the game. It might sound pretty simple. That's what I thought initially. But its really a very energy draining and body aching way of playing games~! I played boxing, tennis, baseball the whole of Christmas eve and I tell you, my body ache like crazy the next morning. I even have problem taking out my T-shirt~! Arms aching, back aching... my god.. can't believe play computer game can also play until like that. This is really a good game console for those lazy bums who don't like to get out of the house, cuz you can really sweat it out and exercise with it!

My Picture Personality from Facebook...
Temperament
Flexible
Nothing seems to bother you - you sail through life crisis free. It's not that your life doesn't have its ups and downs, it's just that you handle everything without unnecessary drama and antics. You approach each day fresh, not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. You are confident that you can handle anything that comes your way and experience has shown that you are absolutely right about this.
Interests
Simple
You are continually pursuing a simpler and less complicated life - you don't allow yourself to fall victim to all of the "should do's" that society continually bombards you with. You are thoughtful about your life choices and think in terms of yourself, others and the world in which we live. You have a great sense that we are part of something much bigger and we must be good to others, if we want others and the world to be good to us.
Amusement
Adventurous
It's a good thing that you are filled with energy and ambitions (that others sometimes find exhausting) because you're continually looking for a new adventure and exciting experience. You struggle with a continual feeling of restlessness which constantly pushes you to the next level of excitement. Once you have accomplished one thing, you are eager to accomplish something more exciting, riskier and distinguishable.
Passion
Physical
You are a cuddle bug - from a warm hug shared with your best friend to steamy sex with your partner, you enjoy every bit of human contact that you can get. You demonstrate your love for others most fluidly through physical one-on-one contact and you feel the most loved when you are being touched. You feel disconnected when you are physically isolated from others. You're a people person and a lover of all things human.

Life is fragile...
This is a very sad period for the Dragonboat community in Singapore. The Nation has lost 5 of its best rowers. One of them is a fellow schoolmate from SIM. Though I know nothing about dragonboat and I know nothing about Jeremy Goh... I still felt very sad when I read about the news... Perhaps its because those guys were all about the same age as me.. that's why I can feel how much they've left behind and also the pain of their parents and relatives. There's still a very bright future ahead of them but now, without any warnings, they are gone. My heartfelt condolences goes to the friends and families of the 5 rowers... the 5 passionate rowers who dedicated their lifetime doing the thing they loved most... perhaps the only consolation comes in the knowledge that they died doing the things they loved... Rest in peace dear friends....
I received a SMS from Shao Wei... one of his ex-trainee passed away during a 2.4km run due to heat exhaustion. Another sad news that is hard to accept. It is hard to accept that a routine run can turned out to be a tragedy... Life is fragile and unpredictable... we can hardly know what is going to happen next. Cherish your life and cherish what you have.... for you'll never know when you are going to lost it all...
