Iron Horses Night Out at Bukit Indah

Went for my first outing with the Iron Horses riding group. It was a simple trip to Bukit Indah for dinner. It was also my first time riding with such a big group of supersport bikes...30 over of them to be exact. Great ride, good food, fun company~!

New coat of paint....

KNS....painting is such a pain in the ass. Spent the whole morning applying the base coat for my living room and its shagging me out. Not as easy as I thought it would be. There goes my Friday.

Went to Ikea to buy paint, ended up spending more than I should. Ate Burger King, buy new furnitures for my room, pump petrol....kaoz.... should have just buy the paint from Lot 1... Confirm save a lot more money...

Taking a break now....and its not even 1/4 done... sianz...

Happy Birthday to Myself~!

Happy Birthday to myself~!!! One year older.... haiz.... a quarter of a century old.... I guess as one gets older, birthdays became just like any other days...

Had a birthday dinner treat from my parents at Vienna International Buffet Restaurant... eat until damn full...haha... Well, no spectacular birthday celebration this time round. Just a simple dinner with my loved ones (Mum, Dad, Jas.... Sis have lesson so cannot join)... and I guess that's good enough.... =)

Oh yar, I also have a birthday wish and trust me... everyone out there have the capability to fulfil it..... I only want this..........

I passed my Class 2 TP~!!!

Passed my Class 2 TP Test this morning~!!! Finally.... after 2 long years of waiting. I accumulated 2 demerit points this time round and for those who never take Class 2 Test before, this is a damn good result~!!! Got 4 points the last time round when I took my Class 2A. I'm really happy and glad that I passed on my first attempt. Partly because I've wanted a Class 2 license for the longest time and partly because I have no more money to retake the test! haha...

Actually I wasn't feeling very confident for the test initially. When for revision last friday and I totally screwed it up. I simply can't clear the Bumpy Course. Fall of 2 times, went off-course 3 times....sianz.... -_-" Good thing the instructor give me some tips and teach me how to do it properly and I managed to clear it at the very last minute during the revision lesson. Luckily I went for the revision. If not, I would not have gain back the feel of the bike which I've lost during the month long wait for the test. Had wanted to book another revision but no money to do so...

The Test today was okie. Everything went on quite smoothly. I set a very simple objective for myself and that is to clear all the obstacle courses without any Immediate Failure. It doesn't matter if I didn't meet the require timing or whatever. As long as I don't get Immediate Failure, there will still be chance. Can hit timing at most get 4 demerit points... =P

Fortunately, everything went well, and not only did I clear all the obstacles, I clear them within the stipulated timing too~! Okie enough of the details... It all doesn't matter now. Important thing is that I passed~!!!

Time to upgrade~!!! Yeah right..... -_-" No money to eat, where got money to upgrade. I guess I'll have to hang on to 176 for a while more before going for an upgrade... Oh well, meanwhile it won't hurt just to dream and think of what I want right? hehehe.... Let all be the judges.... What should I get?

Yamaha FZ1... A powerful street fighter. Ideal for going long distance because of the comfortable riding posture. Acceleration and speed? Its using R1's engine so what do you think?

Anyone got 44k to spare? BMW R1200GS Adventure... Enduro Bike... The bike that can bring you round the world.... I'm beginning to love this bike.. But then again... 44k Machine Price~~!!! Siao ah... Maybe when I become super rich next time then I'll think about it bah... haha... =P

SRC Dinner and Dance 2007

And finally, the SRC D&D... It marks the formal end of my SRC Career as Welfare Head. The evening was great, though the turnout wasn't fantastic. Everyone dressed nicely to impressed. Everyone is taking photo with everyone! The handing-over ceremony was touching. The nice video and the walk down the red carpet....

And now, time to concentrate on the coming examination... As much as I enjoy school life, its time to move on....

I am a happy boy today~! Went out with baby jas to buy my anniversary-birthday-valentine's day present... A pair of Levi's Jeans~!!!! Thank you baby~!!! Baby gotta sacrifice her own Levi's Jeans to buy me mine cuz she's on budget too... I will buy you nice, nice things again when I start working in June okie? =)

Its been a long, long time since I last bought a pair of Levi's. Used to buy Levi's once every few months but those were the days when money was not an issue. Now cannot already... Freaking broke. Less than a 100 bucks to last me through the rest of the month... that would've been enough if I minus the fact that I still have outstanding credit card bill, M1 bill, Singnet Bill, Starhub Bill, insurance and bike instalments to pay.... Sighz.... Life is getting bad....

Camp Discovery

Its the time of the year for SRC Camp Discovery~! This is a annual leadership camp organised by the SRC to scout for future talents to lead SRC to greater heights. Potential leaders were put through various tasks to bring out the best in them. Let the pictures do the talking~!

After months of observations, 3 days in Camp D, and hours of intense interviews...the list is out~! And we start to have fun with prank calls to inform the selected ones. Bet they didn't know we are ALL listening in~! hehehee...

27 Dec 2006:
Went to BBDC to register for my Class 2. Finally after 2 years of waiting~!!! The bike they are using now is the CB750, super heavy and not as easy to handle as the Hornet they used previously. But don't care lah, just gotta get used to it. =)

28 Dec 2006:
First lesson for Class 2. Gotta push the damn heavy NightHawk around figure-8 *pengz*
The rest of the lesson was pretty alright. Quite fun in fact. Plank course was not an issue. Pylon was not too bad. Pylon is suppose to be one of the tougher courses but I've figured that if you dare to push your bike a bit lower and use more body action to flip it from side to side, you can actually clear the course quite easily. Stage 1 cleared~!

29 Dec 2006:
Went for the SRC Night Jaunt. It was a Ghostly Night Tour organised by SRC and conducted by Singapore Paranomal Investigators (SPI). The SPI team brought us to a lot of eerie places, like the old SCDF Camp, baby corpse dumping site, Choa Chu Kang cemetary etc. In between these, we also had some good food at the Thomson Prata House and Geylang. It is the first time that SRC is organising such event. It was a success and hopefully, the subsequent batch of freshies can continue to organise it~!

Celebrated Elaine's 20th Birthday at the Changi SAF Chalet. The Steamboat and Teppanyaki is super great~! Less hassle too! Should get a set soon... hehe...

Had a mini gathering with the buddies at Edmund's house. Played Texans Poker and drank a bit. Had lots of laughs as usual. Nothing surprising considering that Suresh is present... haha..
Oh yar, that Baron Strong Brew beer sucks! Kaoz...simply cannot stand the taste of it... =P

2 Jan 2007:
Class 2 Lesson 2... S-course, crank-course, bumpy course, e-brake. The bumpy course is tough and something I don't like since Class 2A. Its so irritating. The concept is simple...just whack your throttle everytime you reach a bump... But the execution is damn tough...sianz... But I still managed to clear it. Stage 2 cleared~!

Went for the Inline Skating Workshop organised by the SRC Workshop Committee and conducted by Urban Inline - The Skating People. Walking is too slow~! hahaha... Quite a fun experience. Used to blade a bit long time ago but it was not done properly...anyhow one.. =P Now I finally got to learn the basic properly and understand the basic technique. Its making me like rollerblading again~! I wanna buy a pair of rollerblades~! No money though... shall wait till exam ends then see how... Hopefully can get one when I get my pay in July...

Once again, the SRC X'mas MGM is here again~! This is the last MGM for the year and it also mark the end of my tour as an Exco (literally lahz)... The next event will be the D&D, where we will hand over our appointments to the new batch of Excos. How time flies...as usual...

JB Petrol Run and Pasir Gudang Track Day...

It was great experience for me on Sat and Sun... Did things that I've never done before and its kinda fun.
Saturday: Went for the West Side Riders outing and chatted for a while at this ulu eating place off Depot Road... Good place to hang out cuz there's plently of parking lots. After that, went into 2nd link to pump petrol for the first time. Had Issayboi, WestSpec and Flaky_boi as my personal guide... It was fun riding with them. Now I know where they clear their carbon everytime... that whole stretch of bridge from Singapore custom to Malaysia custom is the perfect place... One long stretch where you can see no end... haha...

Pumped Petronas after making a u-turn at 312C. Saw some siao mat-rempits doing wheelies on their kup...kaoz....crazy people... and they are damn young lor...at most 10 years old... Okie doesn't matter to me. I don't give a damn. Just pump and come out. Don't wanna get involoved with them in any ways.

Sunday: Met up with Andrew and we ride up north to Pasir Gudang for the Johor Circuit Track Day. We don't really know the way.. just follow the road sign... and we got lost~! hahaz.... not very lost lah, just somewhere near the area but don't exactly know where it is. Andrew buay tahan anymore and stopped at a petrol station to buy a map. We studied the map for a good 10 minute and came to a conclusion....the map is useless~! It doesn't even show the place we are at... kaoz... what kind of lousy map is that... wasted 5 rm... =P

Luckily the cashier at the petrol station teach us how to go. Its fun to be navigating around places. I suddenly feel like I'm back to my Sec Sch days, when I ride my bicycle and explore the neighbourhood with Khairuddin. Still remember there was once, we tried to figure our way from Yishun to Woodlands, and we spent hours going round and round.... -_-"

We finally found our way after a while. Johor Circuit is not quite what Andrew and me expected it to be. Its more like an abandoned playground for bikers... okie lah, the track condition is not too bad, but everything else is fit for the museum. Oh well, the facilities are not important. What's interesting is the number of superbikes over there... its quite an eye-opener for the both of us... to see so many bikers in their Full Battle Order (Full face helmet, full leather track suit, gloves and race boots), and bringing their bikes to the extreme. Now Andrew is so tempted to get his full suit, change his exhaust and go whack his bike on the track. It was a short trip but definitely a fulfilling one.

Wanted to eat lunch in JB but can't really find a suitable place and we don't wanna leave our bikes unattended. So we ended up coming back to Singapore for lunch. On our way back, the custom is jammed~! Sianz... its already so freaking hot and we are stucked in the jam. Sweating like crazy and my whole T-shirt is wet....-_-" Oh.. and Andrew is unlucky enough to get a nail in his rear tire...

What's next? Go Melaka eat durian chendol or go Ipoh eat hor fun? haha... =P
