Writing for 190306

Nothing particularly interesting. Work in the morning as usual. Met up with Din and Martin at Starbucks. Slack around for a while and drove to east coast to eat dinner. It's been a long, long time since I went there to eat. It's a huge place but its still jam packed with lots of people! Reach the carpark, gotta wait for parking lot.... park already, go inside, gotta wait for table.... kaoz... But I guess the wait is worthwhile. Had lots of food to eat that night... and I really mean ALOT! Okie lah... maybe for other people, its not too much. But for Martin, Din, Jas and me.... its kinda alot.... and we ordered 2 rounds...or was it 3? Don't know lah... all I know is that at the end of the whole thing, I'm so full that I can't move....hahaha...
Don't wanna hog the seats after we're done with the food, so decided to go to the Beancurd stall at Selegie to have some desserts... A lot of people told me that the Dou Hua shop in Geylang has the nicest Dou Hua, but I seriously don't think so leh... I still think that the Selegie one is better... smoother, nicer... Only bad thing is that they don't sell you tiao... whatever..... got what eat what lor...

My Sociology Mock Exam is screwed up today. Didn't managed to fill up 5 pages which means that my script will end up in the dustbin...sighz...
Maths 1 Mock tomorrow.... Will be another goner I guess...

IBM Mock Exam and Andrew's Birthday...

Went for the IBM Mock Exam today. Seriously, I never really prepared for it. Althought I tried, most of the time I am just flipping through the mindmaps and notes, reading a few lines here and there, remembering nothing at all after each session... But nonetheless, since I've already paid so much money for everything, might as well go for the mock exam. 3 years plus never take exam already, so I guess its time for me to get warmed up a bit. The paper isn't too tough, neither was it easy... maybe that's because I don't know what's happening, that's why I can't say if its tough or easy. But well, I managed to do 3 questions out of the required 4. And I am pretty sure that I am not going to score well cuz I bullshit my way through the 3 questions, quoting no examples from theorists or anyone else... its just me and my bullshit... we'll see how it goes.... Sociology mock on Monday... this one also sure gone case... but still must try... haha...

After the exam, rush straight down to New Asia Bar at Swissotel to celebrate Andrew's 25th Birthday... Yes he is 25 years old! A quarter of a century old~! hahaha... okie my turn will come pretty soon but for now, I shall just laugh at him first.... Oh yar, while parking my car, I realised that one of my headlight is not working!! Damn... gotta spend money again...

As usual, Andrew and the rest were late... luckily they were not too far off the original timing. New Asia Bar was damn crowded and it was like only 6.30pm... But we still managed to find a place to sit after sometime. Its nice chilling out with all of them after so long. Drank quite a bit tonight.... not me of course, because I am driving. I am an obedient citizen okie =P Everyone was very happy and chatting non-stop. The scenery was nice and the atmosphere was great. Perfect for a night out with buddies, but it would be too noisy for couples I guess. Dance a bit at the later part of the night and we were all shagged out by 12.30am.... It was really enjoyable and once again, Happy Birthday Andrew!!!

Eventful month...

So much things happened this month... so much that I can't really remember all. First of all, my laptop died on me!!! After faithfully serving me or 3 years, its graphic card finally decide too die... That's a cool $200 + to fix it.... And as if I am not poor enough, I was made to pay for the SIM eRev fees... another $210 gone...sighz... money is so hard to earn... but its gone all too fast... =P

Don's House Visit

Visited Don's house today. It was suppose to be a CNY gathering but it ended with something more. My group of SRC Excos bought me a birthday cake to celebrate my birthday for me! It has been a long long time since I last celebrated my birthday. The past 3 years were spent doing duties in camp... -_-" Besides the nice birthday cake, they bought me a nice T-shirt too! Wah... birthday cake + Birthday present+ Birthday Song.... I am really touched... not only because of the present but also because of the fact that they do remember my birthday. Thank you everyone!!! I know I did not show as much emotion as Jacqueline, neither did I jump around hugging everyone. But please be assured that I truly appreciate what you guys have done. Perhaps I just do not know how to show my emotion well. Pardon me, alright? =)
Oh, and we celebrated Jac's birthday too... how can I forget that... haha... Other than the celebrations, the usual gambling took place, but I wasn't around long enough to find out who was the biggest winner.... =P

Welfare Gathering!!!

We had a Welfare Gathering at senior Boon Tat's place at Punggol. It was fun to see everyone again. Had BBQ and some cooked food my Mingli. The usual mini gambling den operates as usual in the house. With Mahjong for Beginners (no money involved), and BlackJack at the living room... most of us are just small time player... the 2 BIG players are Kuan Peng and Junjie, battling their life out with their last dollars... haha... its interesting just to see the 2 of them play...
Oh, and they bought a nice, small birthday cake for me... okie its actually a bread bun but it still looks like a cake with the candle on it... haha... so touched. Thank you all for remembering my birthday! Really appreciate it... =)

Chinese New Year...

Chinese New Year holidays are gonna be over soon, and we'll all be going back to work or school tomorrow (well at least for me). Did not really do much visiting. Only went to the usual places on Day 1, then its slacking at home all the way. Watched Fearless and Memoir of A Geisha with Martin and Jas on 2 consecutive nights. Not like there's anything much we can do. Fearless is not bad and Memoir of Geisha is interesting if you pay attention to the movie.
Now that the holiday seasons are over, its time to gear up for the exam. EXAM!!! For the record, mock exam is in March and the UOL exam is in May.... Not much time left, but plenty of notes to read and prepare.
