Shopping day~!

I am really broke now. Spent so much today. Met Jas early in the morning today to have breakfast before we head down to Creative Technology Building for the CreativeX Fest. Was hanging around there for quite some time cuz Jas can't decide whether to buy a Zen Neon or Zen Micro. In the end, after all the analyzing and comparing, she decided that Zen Micro is a better choice. She bought a white one and seeing her buy makes me damn tempted too. I ended up buying one too. Wanted a green one but its out of stock, so I got a black one instead. Looks nice too. That's $379 for a start.

Next stop to the Honda Showroom at Leng Kee. Had wanted to see the S2000 but it was not in display. Only the showroom in Ubi got display... sianz... Dropped by Harley showroom too. Was kinda disappointed cuz the Street Rod was no longer on display. Only left the V-Rod. Apparently the owner has collected it.... sigh... when will it be my turn....

Went to ikea next to buy my bed. I already knew what I wanted so I went straight to the bed section to order the bed. Cost me another 350 bucks... 50 bucks more than the original price cuz of the delivery charges and assembly charges... sianz... everything also need money. That brings my total spending for today to 700 plus.... one short day, and only 2 items.... things are really expensive....

Oh yar, actually Hannah was worst.... hehe...she finally bought her iMac... $2600 ++..... that's a lot of money.... hope she enjoy her iMac... =)

A slow day...

Started off the day stoning in front of my computer in the morning. Got so bored until I decided to go out. Not too used to having so much time on hand, so I really what I wanna do or where I wanna go. Wanted to go bike hunting, but was lazy and its also kinda boring to be doing it alone. Now that Andrew is working full-time, I have no more biking buddy. Martin's working so that option is out too. Wanted to ride on my own to town but the weather was pretty bad, so decided to drive instead... I hate to drive to town on weekdays cuz the parking cost a bomb~! But never mind... not as if I always have off days. =P

Went to Starbucks Suntec to look for Din. Got a free caramel machiato as usual. He showed me his latest craze, the Creative Zen Neon. Looks kinda cool. He's going to buy it tomorrow. And he told me he's going to buy his iMac tomorrow too. Rich bugger...

Didn't stay long cuz got nothing to do. So I wonder around Suntec and ended up in the bookshop. Saw an interesting book, "Who moved my cheese". Kinda interesting and was contemplating whether to buy or not. Decided to read it there instead cuz there wasn't too many pages. Managed to finish reading the book. Quite an interesting and inspirational one. Some knowledge gained and a few bucks saved.

Met Jas at the MRT station and we went to Forum to meet Shi Xian. Was scheduled to attend a seminar on how to write a Will. Now then I realised the importance of a Will. And I also discover that not only is it expensive to fall sick in Singapore, it is also very expensive to die in Singapore. Just the expenses and taxes on the assets you left after you die, amounts to about 15-60%. That means your family will get only between 40 to 85% of your assets. How sad is that. So the conclusion is, don't fall sick and don't die. Will decide on whether I wanna write a Will soon. Not that I have a lot of money to distribute. Finally having a day off.... haha... slacking at home now...
Actually I also dunno what to do. Stay online also nothing much to surf. Go out also dunno where to go. Sleep also sleep enough already... should I just go back and work? hmmm.... haha.... I guess I shall just stone around.

Thinking of changing the setup of my room. Wanna change a bed and also arrange the furniture a little... but very lazy to get started... haha... sianz... =P

My latest craze~!

Went to Leng Kee area to look for the Mitsubishi Showroom on Saturday. Wanted to take a look at the new Evo IX but couldn't find it, so me and Jas ended up in the Harley Davidson showroom..... I am so in love with Harley Davidson bike now~!!!! Freaking huge and cool machine~! I don't fancy all the models though. Only the new V-Rod and Street Rod. Street Rod in particular. Can you imagine a street bike look-alike that's as huge and as powerful as a typical Harley? I know you can't... don't think anyone can feel what I am saying till you are right there staring at the real thing! That's what happened for me.... I was never impressed with Harley and never regard them as anything more than noise pollutants until that fateful Saturday when I went into the showroom. The Street Rod will put all other Class 2 bikes to shame! 120 horsepower, 284kg, 180mm rear tire, brembo brakes, and V-twin Revolution engine... the unmistakable revving of the engine... oh my god, can someone just buy me a Harley. After that day, I've made up my mind. I'll get a Harley Street Rod once I get my Class2. And mind you, buying a Harley is not as easy as you think. Got money also might not get it as soon as you want. Need to place order one year in advance for delivery to take place. But with such cool machine, its worth the wait.
What's all those sports bike and street bikes compare to a Harley. Nothing to compare. Argh~! I can't stand it anymore. I shall continue dreaming for now.

Jas passed her Driving Test~!

haha... so happy for Jas. She passed her Driving Test on the first attempt~! That's even better than me.... haha... I took 2 times to pass. Good job baby~ hehe... Let her drive my car just now. She is really nervous. Forget to turn on light, forget to put seat belt, forget to release handbrake... heheheh... and to think she just passed the test this afternoon... so fast forget already.... hehe... no lah, first time drive on public road without a "L" plate confirm stress lah. Like I told her, Singaporean drivers are all fuck-up. Myself included. So don't have to follow to strictly to the rules one. To put it bluntly, the fiercest driver survive~! Okie but to put it nicely, as long as it is safe for you, just go ahead and make the move. Don't hesistate too much.

I was basically nagging at her throughout the trip home, telling her what to do, what to check, slow down, brake gently, turn properly, keep in the lane etc etc. hahaha... though I know its damn irritating, cuz my dad used to do that on me, but I just can't help it. Its like I wanna pass her all my driving experience and knowledge within one day! hahaha... I guess now then I understand how my dad feels when he used to sit beside me when I drive. There's just so much to comment. haha.... baby, that's just part and parcel of life and growing up. So the bottomline is, you've gotta endure all my nagging till you can drive like me~! hehehe.... =P

Talking about driving.... I just smashed up my left side mirror when I went to Ubi to collect some stuff for NDP. This one was my fault so there's nothing much for me to grumble about. I was trying to squeeze past a huge lorry but I underestimated the space and my left side mirror smashed into the lorry's rear. It all happened too fast. I was driving too fast and I was out of that place too fast. So fast that I didn't even realised that my mirror was smashed until when I needed to check my left side. haha... I guess but the time that lorry driver realised, it will be too late too. Sianz... gotta spend money again... =P
