Chinese New Year...

Chinese New Year holidays are gonna be over soon, and we'll all be going back to work or school tomorrow (well at least for me). Did not really do much visiting. Only went to the usual places on Day 1, then its slacking at home all the way. Watched Fearless and Memoir of A Geisha with Martin and Jas on 2 consecutive nights. Not like there's anything much we can do. Fearless is not bad and Memoir of Geisha is interesting if you pay attention to the movie.
Now that the holiday seasons are over, its time to gear up for the exam. EXAM!!! For the record, mock exam is in March and the UOL exam is in May.... Not much time left, but plenty of notes to read and prepare.
Sianz... going to sleep already... Nageb's lesson tomorrow... *faintz*

Got cheated by dishonest seller at Chinatown. Buy 3kg worth of stuff but only gave me 2kg. Those who are going to Chinatown to buy things please be careful. Whatever it is, ask them to show you what's on the weighing scale!!!

I passed my 2A!!!

Yeah!!! I passed my Class 2A. Dream come true!!! haha.. after waiting for an entire year and spending another tedious month going for all the lessons and revisions, falling and picking up again, I finally got it! haha... and I only got 4 demerit points for the entire test... For those who have never taken a TP test and don't know how the TP assessement system works, go ask your friends. Haha... *jumps up and down*

I guess its a good decision that I've made to go for 2 extra lessons prior to the test. At least I've mastered the technique of clearing the bumpy course with ease and gain more confident with clearing the S-course.

Now that the big hurdle is over, its time to decide on what to buy... still looking around...

SIM-UOL Bash, SRC Christmas Dinner...

Been a really busy and fun month! A lot of things happening, a lot of event to go to... haha...
This is long overdue but then again, who cares right. Just some update for whoever is interested.
SIM-UOL Pageant and Bash 2005
Organised by SRC yet again. It was a quite a fun night. The Pageant was pretty interesting and its kinda fun to see your friends up on stage doing catwalks...haha... The Bash was fun too... the music ain't exactly appealing but I guess the people there are more important. A lot of friends were there. In fact, I saw almost all the people I know in SIM there... the place is very crowded and I'm not so sure if ChinaBlack did turn on the aircon... everyone was sweating like crazy =P
Well, nonetheless it was another successful event by SRC. Good job guys!
Me, Peling and Gary.
Terence, Jessie, Cherylyn and me.
SRC Christmas Dinner
Had a simple but fun SRC Christmas Dinner and gift exchange in school. Sponsored by the generous Welfare Administration department of SIM (Thanks Caroline and Patricia!). Had a gift exchange after the dinner and everyone went home happy.... haha... The gift I submitted was a decorative cup of candle. And in the end, the gift I got was a BIGGER cup of decorative candle...haha... what comes around goes around...

Christmas @ Starbucks!

Today Starbucks all over Singapore gave away free drinks for all customers from 5pm to 7pm. Responding to Edwin's (my ex-boss) call for help, Martin, Jerine, Weng Liong, and myself went back to Starbucks Millenia Walk to help out. Didn't do much actually. Just helped out in the crowd control and giving out free sampling drinks and calendar. It was really fun to be working with the same old team again after nearly 4 years. Really reminds me of the good old days when we work in Starbucks ML. Back to the times when there are less worries and more fun. Too bad Boon Leong cannot join us and Khairuddin is handling Starbucks Suntec. If not the team would be more complete and the fun would be endless! Well although it was just a short 2 hours of fun, but I really appreciate the opportunity....
Me, Charmaine and Jerine
Martin, the professional doorman for the day.
Me and Martin =P
Weng Liong, Charmaine, Jerine and what is Martin trying to do?
All are invited!
Charmaine and Tracy =)

Big Boyz Toyz

Went the the Big Boyz Toyz Exhibition today. Actually I went there twice. Yesterday with martin and today with Jas and Ivan... haha... just in case you think I am too rich and have nothing better to do than to pay $10 per ticket for the exhibition, you are wrong. Went again today because Ivan have 2 free tickets for me. He is part of the management of the event so there's some privilege there... hehe... Personally I think that there's nothing much there. Just some nice cars and nice bikes, a lot of babes walking around and that's about it. I didn't really see a crowd, probably because not many people wanna pay that $10... Well for those who didn't go, heres some snapshots...
The famous Jackie Chan Mitsubishi Evo IX... the photo is not doing justice to the beauty of this car. See it with your own eyes and you'll know what I mean...
The Lambo...
Me and the Subaru.
Jas and her favourite red Vespa.
The Lotus Exige... freaking nice car...
Ivan and the babe from Hankook Tires... he is damn happy...haha....

More hands make the job much easier... Thank you everyone for the help! =)
The result! Well Done guys and gals!

After months of planning and discussion, the day of our Blood Donation Drive has arrived. We were all pretty excited about it. Afterall this is our Main Event and what could be more satisfying than making it a success. =)

Peiling and Michelle at the Refreshment Booth.
Sher showing his skills as a professional medic!
Having fun with the Red Cross Cap.
Francis and his friends also came to support. Thanks man!
Check out the Pink Bandage! Courtesy of Sher the Medic...haha...
The ladies.
The hardworking team.
Alright, that sort of summed up my main event in SRC. It was really fun and enjoyable to be working with all the friends from SRC. A different style of doing things, a break away from the regimentation and strict procedures that I am used to in the Army. Looking forward to working with all your guys again soon! Special Thanks to : Jacqueline, Kelly, Sher, Junhong, Hong Lwee, Sheila, Olivia, Anushiya, Junjie, Mingli, Gupta, Michelle, Xiaoxuan, Peiling, Erica, and all those who have in one way or another, contributed to the success of the event. =)
